Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, It is not proud, It is not rude, It is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. L o v e N e v e r F a i l s. Corinthians 13 : 4 - 8

cooking for my husband
One thing that I must learn is to know how to cook a variety of food recipes to make my hubby happy with my cooking. The way thru a man's heart is thru his stomach...hehheheh. This New Year I will try to cook Chap Chae Noodles ( Korean glass noodles). My Korean students brought some during the Christmas party and I love it instantly. So I told myself, why not try cooking it? Good thing my sis in law found that glass noodles in a Korean store in Manila.
I know my hubby will love this wonderful noodle recipe.
Jap Chae Korean Glass Noodles
1/2 pound dried Korean sweet potato noodles
2 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil, divided
1 tablespoon cooking oil
3/4 cup thinly sliced onions
2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3 stalks scallions, cut into 1″ lengths
1/2 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced (shitake, wood ear)
1/2 lb spinach, washed well and drained
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Fill a large pot with water and boil. When water is boiling, add the noodles and cook for 5 minutes. Immediately drain and rinse with cold water. Drain again and toss with only 1 tsp of the sesame oil. Use kitchen shears to cut noodles into shorter pieces, about 8 inches in length. Set aside.
In bowl, mix soy sauce & sugar together. Add the cooking oil in a wok or large saute pan on high heat and swirl to coat. When the cooking oil is hot but not smoking. Fry onions and carrots, until just softened, about 1 minute. Add the garlic, scallions and mushrooms, fry 30 seconds. Then add the spinach, soy sauce, sugar and the noodles. Fry 2-3 minutes until the noodles are cooked through. Turn off heat, toss with sesame seeds and the remaining 1 1/2 tsp of sesame oil.

Our Wedding
How can we forget the time we said "I DO?" It was the most amazing, memorable and most important thing that happened in our life. I got teary - eyed when I started saying our vows...it was a very emotional moment. Everybody was joking at first...but when the ceremonies started...we all started to get serious too. At that moment, it was as if I could not see anything at all but you honey and I know it's the same thing you were feeling at that time. The love that we have is so amazing...and it will continue to grow stronger everyday for the rest of our life.

Love Moves in Mysterious Ways
Love Moves In Mysterious Ways
Julia Fordham
Revive by Nina
Who'd have thought this is how the pieces fit
You and I shouldn't even try making sense of it
I forgot how we ever came this far
I believe we had reasons but I don't know what they are
Don't blame it on my heart, oh
Love moves in mysterious ways
It's always so surprising
When love appears over the horizon
I'll love you for the rest of my days
But still it's a mystery
How you ever came to me
Which only proves
Love moves in mysterious ways
Heaven knows love is just a chance we take
We make plans but then love demands a leap of faith
So hold me close and never never let me go
'Cos even though we think we know which way the river flows
That's not the way love goes, no
(Repeat chorus)
Like the ticking of a clock two hearts beat as one
But I'll never understand the way it's done, oh
(Repeat chorus)
Love moves... in mysterious ways....
Yes love moves in mysterious ways. One will never know when it will finally hit you big time. I'm glad that my husband and I followed the road towards each other. We are not two now but we are one. I am so very happy for being his wife. Sometimes I would still pinch myself to make sure that I am not dreaming. Guess what? I am not dreaming..everything is real. I love my husband so much. I love him more than life itself. He's my anchor and my strength...my number 1 fan...my lover and my bestfriend. I love you my honeybee...I love you my Mr. Downey!!!
